LH200 V-Twin Bore and Hone Cylinder. We custom bore your cylinder jug to fit nearest oversize piston using Proprietary Torque Plates to ensure your jug is round and true when installed. We bore your jug in two passes to minimized micro-fracturing of the metal, so our diamond honing and plateau finish gives you a cylinder that requires very little break-in. Includes gapping the rings. $100 each. For big-bore pistons, use LH205.
LH205 V-Twin Bore for Big Bore Piston. Boring Twin Cam jugs for 95”, 96” 105” big bore pistons; or Boring EVO jugs for 88” big bore pistons runs $140 each. We keep several brands and sizes of big bore pistons in stock.
LM216 Flex Hone Cyl. When just re-ringing an engine, without reboring & honing the cylinders, flex honing deglazes the cylinder to aid piston ring seating. Includes washing after honing. Priced per cyl. $12
LM218 Set Piston Ring Gaps. Piston ring end gaps are measured in the block’s cylinders, and then precision gapped as req’d to meet proper
specs. Includes gapping top, 2nd, and oil rings; priced per cylinder, $12.50
LH210 V-Twin Surface Top of Cylinder. We restore the head gasket deck on the jug to like new, to ensure your bike’s head gaskets stay sealed. $44 per jug.
LH215 V-Twin Surface Both Top and Bottom of Cylinder. Nice smooth machined deck and base gasket surfaces ensure your cylinders and gaskets seal properly for many thousands of rock-solid reliable miles of riding. Only $69 per jug.

LP207 Install Cyl Sleeve (Flanged or Step), 1st Sleeve, use LM222 for each add’l sleeve. Sleeves (sold separately) are used to repair badly worn or cracked cylinders. Includes boring the block to accept dry, non-flange style sleeve. Chilled Sleeve is pressed into the block for a secure shrink fit. Some sleeves only require honing to finish, while others require boring & honing to fit the pistons (see above for add’l pricing to hone, or bore & hone). LM088 Disassemble Cylinder Head. Inspect, mic, and visually evaluate components such as head casting, valve seats, valves, guides, springs, cams, cam followers, lifters, rockers arms (as equipped) for the purpose of estimating the head for rebuilding. $76
LM090 Vat Clean Cylinder Head. Process the head thru a hot detergent vat/jet washer to remove most dirt, grease, oil, & carbon. (Note: some carbon, oil, grease, and stains may remain. We offer bead blasting at an add’l cost.) Vat cleaning per head, $40
LM092 Leak Test Valves. Vacuum is applied to each intake and exhaust port of the head, to test the sealing of the valves on their seats. Per head, $25
LM100 Cut Valve/Seat; Most Single Cyl Engines. Commonly referred to as a valve job, this consists of: Removing carbon from valves; inspect springs and valves; Reface valves and machine valve seats with proper multi-angle profile. Vacuum test sealing of each valve on its seat. Pressure test springs; install stem seals as req’d (seals sold separately). Re-assemble valves and springs in the head; and do a final quality control vacuum test. $175 per head
LM104 Cut Valve/Seat; SOHC/DOHC Heads w/2 Valve per Cyl; 2 or more cyls. LH100 V-Twin Multi-Angle Valve Job, performed on our state-of-the-art Serdi Machine, using carbide form tools to ensure all seats are cut to the same precise angles, widths and surfaces finish…giving your bike miles and miles of reliable power. Includes labor to disassemble heads, clean all parts, testing valve springs, reface valves, cut seats, reassemble, and vacuum test valve sealing. Only $112.50 per head with 2 head minimum.
LH100-PB Port Blended Valve Job, seats are profiled and blended to the port for optimum performances on our Newen Contour CNC machine. We cut the seats to the same multi-angle/radius profile used in our fully CNC 5-Axis Ported Heads. You get to taste the power of full-blown CNC ported heads for a fraction of the cost. Includes disassembly, cleaning, test springs, profile seats, reface valves, reassemble, and vacuum test. $160 per head / 2 head minimum.

LH100-CNC V-Twin Fully Ported, the ultimate in hi-performance head work. Ports are fully machined on our 5-Axis CNC Machining Center, CC’d chamber, deck surfaced, guides, Viton hi-temp stem seals, valves feature a performance cut, exhaust ports are coated with a ceramic-metallic thermal barrier to reduce head temps and enhance performance. Includes all this plus everything listed for the Port blended heads. Real Power begins with CNC Ported head. Prices start at only $699 per pair.

LM114 Adjust Valve; Heads w/2 Valve per Cyl; Shims & Non-Hydraulic. Heads with non-hydraulic bucket cam followers, which use shims to adjust the valve clearance, require the cams and followers to be installed, then valve clearance is measured; req’d shim thickness calculated; and a proper shim is installed. All valve clearances are checked a final time for quality control. Shims are sold separately as needed. Priced per valve, $18
LM116 Adjust Valve; Heads w/Multi-Valve per Cyl; Shims & Non-Hydraulic. LM118 Adjust Valve, each; No Shims, Non Hydraulic. Heads with solid, non-hydraulic bucket cam followers, which use do not use shims to adjust the valve clearance, require the cams, followers, and valves be temporarily installed, then valve clearance is measured; the installed valve height is machined to achieve proper valve clearance. The cam and valves are permanently installed and all valve clearances are checked a final time for quality control. This process saves buying all new follower buckets. Priced per valve, $18
LM138 Surface Head, Most 2-3-4 cyl heads. We surface the gasket deck on heads with a precision machine which uses a CBN or diamond insert. This leaves a very smooth/flat finish for maximum head gasket seal and longevity. $85
LH120 V-Twin Precision Deck Milling. We re-surface the deck using our CBN head surfacing mill. Not a mickey-mouse lathe adapter or drill press, our head milling machine has a huge spindle and very rigid frame for vibration and chatter free cuts. Your heads get a very accurate and smooth Ra finish that works great with any head gasket - especially hi-performance multi-layer steel gaskets. $69 per head / 2 head minimum..
LH130 V-Twin Valve Guide Replacement. With over 55 yrs experience installing valve guides in air-cooled heads, we know how to properly replace the guides in your bike’s cylinder heads. We use a Sunnen dial bore gage and dedicated carbide reamers to make sure they are properly fit to your valves. $22 each. Guides sold separately.
Note: We can also custom make & install oversize valve guides; and can TIG weld to fix almost any head wear or damage. See LM154 or LM156 below.
LM150 Check & Service Valve Guide, Multi-Valve OHC / DHOC heads.. The key to a reliable valve job is having excellent valve guides. We use a special Sunnen bore gauge to precisely measure each guide, to check for both size and geometric wear, such as bell-mouth, barrel, out-of-roundness, and galling. We measure guide installed height; we mic each valve stem and compare to the guide bore to ensure proper clearances. Guides found to be unacceptable are replaced at no add’l labor charge. Priced per guide, $15 Guides are sold separately.
LM154 Size Guide OD. Some heads require +0.001” or +0.002” oversize outside diameter guides. Often the new replacement guides are only available +0.005” and / or are too long; or do not have a shoulder to fit the valve stem seal. Reaming the head to accept the extra large guide eliminates the possibility of rebuilding the heads again, in the future. Instead, we machine the too large guide to fit the head. Cut it to length, and machine for a stem seal as needed. Prices per guide, $25
LM156 Custom Make Valve Guide. Use LM158 for add’l guide. ADD’L GUIDE. Should a head need an oversize guide, much larger than any available, we keep manganese bronze bar stock on hand, and can custom manufacture a guide to fit. It takes a little extra time to set up the lathe and tooling to make the 1st guide, so it runs $90 plus Mn-Bronze bar stock sold per inch.
LM158 Custom Make Add’l Guide. With the lathe & tooling already set up after making the 1st guide, we discount the price for making any add’l guides of the same size. Priced per guide, $40 plus Mn-Bronze bar stock sold per inch.
LM160 Valve Seat Replacement. With yrs of experience, we are able to properly remove old valve seats and replace them with new hard seats, using a thermal interference fit to ensure they stay in place for mile after mile. $90 for the first seat, and $46 for each add’l seat (LM162). We also can repair heads that have dropped seats, so they look and perform like new.
LM162 Install Add’l Valve Seat of same size. With the mill and tooling already set up from installing the 1st valve seat, we discount the price for installing any add’l valve seats of the same size. Priced per seat, $46 Seats sold separately.
LM164 Repair Spark Plug Threads. We use a variety of methods to restore the spark plug threads in your cylinder head. Per hole, includes insert or helicoil, $44
LM166 Repair Broken Bolt / Stud. Use LM168 for EDM. We use a variety of methods to remove/repair a stripped or broken stud or bolt. Includes most common insert or helicoil, $59 minimum Note: price may be more if someone has already attempted a repair or if welding is required.
LM168 EDM Machine, min. Whenever a drill bit or easy-out is broken off trying in a part, we’re able to precisely remove it with an EDM Machine that disintegrates the hard metal. $120 minimum for 1st hour
LM130 Polish Cam Shaft. Camshafts may require micro polishing to restore their bearings’ surface finish. Priced per shaft, $30
LM180 Hone/Polish Cam Brg Bores. Often a cam brgs will only slightly try to bind the camshaft; not enough to require reaming or align boring - instead we can flex hone them or polish them to restore the correct cam fit. Priced per cam, $90 For more severe wear / damage use LM172 or LM176 below.
LM172 Ream Cam Bores. Often when heads overheats, their cam bearing bores are no longer in alignment; which can cause the cam to seize and break a timing chain, or worse. By align reaming the cam’s bearing bores, the cam will spin freely again. Priced per cam, $135 Also see LM176
LM176 Align Bore OHC Cam Brg, 1st brg. Use LM178 for each add’l bearing. When a cam seizes in a head, if it wears beyond limits for reaming, we can align bore the head to accept a bearing insert, or size a welded bore to restore proper cam bearing clearance. Per each, $169 Inserts or welding sold separately.
LM178 Align bore Add’l Cam Brg. With the machine & tooling already set up from boring the 1st bearing, we can give you a discount on any add’l cam bearing bores of the same. Per each, $60
LH150 Install Manual Compression Release. Accurately placed, with properly tapped threads ensure they fit and perform to the max! $75 per head. Be sure to ask about our discount pricing on compression release valves. We also install automatic releases.
